19 NFL records that could be broken by end of 2019 season

As the 2019 NFL season reaches the quarter pole — don’t “at” us, “quarter pole” actually means you’ve entered the final quarter of a race … look it up — several records are in jeopardy of going by the wayside in the league’s 100th season.

Some you’re surely aware of. Lamar Jackson is very likely to set the mark Sunday for most rushing yards in a season by a quarterback, surpassing Michael Vick.

But did you know about some of the pick-six all-timers in peril? Or rookies who could rewrite history?

Here are 19 records that could be broken by the end of the regular season:

1. Rushing yards by a quarterback in one season

Jackson needs just 63 yards to break Vick’s 13-year-old standard of 1,039. No other quarterback has eclipsed 1,000 on the ground in a year. Jackson is currently averaging 81.4 per outing, but his 140 rushing attempts already exceed Vick’s 2006 total (123).
