Petitions issued to US government cite ‘integral function of compelled labour’ involving Uighur Muslims and different minority teams

Human rights campaigners are calling on US government to prohibit all imports of cotton from the Chinese language province of Xinjiang after allegations of in style compelled labour.

Two equivalent petitions, delivered these days to US Customized and Border Coverage, cite “really extensive proof” that the Uighur group and different minority teams are being press-ganged into operating within the area’s cotton fields.
