TMNT Arcade1up Arcade Cabinet
TMNT Arcade1up Cabinet w/Riser
The 1989 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game and its 1991 follow-up Turtles in Time are both classics of the bygone arcade era. Both games made their way to home consoles, but with some sacrifices made to fit them onto cartridges. Eventually home console technology outpaced the old arcade games and we got arcade-perfect ports for systems like Xbox 360.

The problem was, as perfect as the emulation and ROMs were on home console, they still couldn’t replicate the fun of playing with three of your best turtle pals on a proper cabinet. The Arcade1up machine checks all the boxes: arcade ROMs, space-saving 3/4 scale design, and authentic 4-player simultaneous play.
On top of the ability to play two of the funnest arcade games, ever, the TMNT arcade cabinet also comes with a riser to lift it up off the floor just enough to make standing to play that much more comfortable. You don’t need to use the riser, but as a tall person, I recommend it pretty highly.
I was lucky enough to review the Arcade1up Mortal Kombat cabinet, and I loved it. The novelty of having a small-scale arcade machine in my house is matched by just how fun it is to load up and play games I used to have to feed quarters into.
