Rising oil spill from MV Wakashio threatens ecological and financial crisis

A boat that ran aground off Mauritius leaking tonnes of oil into the sea is cracking up, the rustic’s top minister has stated, threatening a fair higher ecological and financial crisis for the island country.

Greater than 1,000 tonnes of gas has seeped from the majority service MV Wakashio into the ocean off south-east Mauritius, polluting the coral reefs, white-sand seashores and pristine lagoons that entice vacationers from world wide.
