The latest MCU film has two scenes, one that takes place mid-credits and then a stinger right after the end credits roll. Both scenes set up big things to come for Peter Parker and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If you want the full reveal of what those two scenes entail then read on but consider yourself warned!Full SPOILERS ahead for Spider-Man: Far From Home!Every Spider-Man Movie's Rotten Tomatoes ScoreSpider-Man: Far From Home Mid-Credits SceneFar From Home's ending sees Peter swinging through Manhattan on his way to meet MJ. We then cut to the credits before the mid-credits scene kicks in.Peter and MJ land in the middle of the city, and suddenly we hear a radio broadcast... no, we realize, it's actually a video broadcast as J.K. Simmons appears on a giant viewscreen mounted on building. Yep, the actor who played J. Jonah Jameson in the first three Spider-Man movies is back as the character again, and he reveals in this broadcast altered footage of Spider-Man's final battle with Mysterio which indicates that Spidey was the cause of the attack. And not just that, but footage of Mysterio sees the villain exposing Peter Parker's true identity to the world... right before the movie cuts to the rest of the credits!Spider-Man: Far From Home End Credits SceneThat's not the only surprise in the film, however. Once all the credits are done, we return to Nick Fury and Maria Hill... who it turns out are actually the Skrulls Talos and Soren (Ben Mendelsohn and Sharon Blynn). They're the alien couple from Captain Marvel, and it turns out they agreed to replace Nick and Maria on this entire mission. But where is Nick exactly...?The former director of S.H.I.E.L.D. is actually up in space on either a space station or ship. When we first see him, he's relaxing at a holographic beach, but then he gets back to work and starts barking orders at the Skrulls who are manning the craft. And then the film ends! The smart money is on this being the start of S.W.O.R.D. in the MCU. That would be the Sentient World Observation and Response Department from the comics, which is essentially charged with dealing with extra-terrestrial dangers. Could Nick Fury be running that group now with the help of the Skrulls? Only time will tell!Spider-Man: Far From HomeFor more coverage of the film, check out our Far From Home review, the 10 essential Mysterio comics you need to read, how this film could be setting up Spider-Man 3, where all the Avengers are now, and our chat with director Jon Watts.
