Keir Starmer condemns ‘prison injury’ however says we will’t have ‘a slaver on a statue’

Labour chief Keir Starmer sparked unease amongst some at the left of his celebration on Monday, as he condemned as “utterly fallacious” the tearing down of the statue of slave dealer Edward Colston in Bristol on the weekend.

Each Starmer and shadow house secretary Nick Thomas-Symonds mentioned they shared the sense of injustice that has introduced greater than 100,000 other people out onto the streets of the United Kingdom to sign up for Black Lives Subject protests in contemporary days.
