The original Dragon Quest Builders took me by surprise, adding a sense of purpose to many of the elements that I liked most about Minecraft. Now, three years later, the sequel has finally been released in North America. There’s a lot to do in this new world, too, as Kyle and I show Leo in today’s NGT.
Building gets the title position, but you don’t spent the bulk of your time stacking blocks. Instead, your attention is also divided between farming, mining, and fighting, too. Take a look at a couple of the game’s story islands, as well as a quick glimpse at Kyle’s freeform hub world.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 is available now on PlayStation 4 and Switch.
