Peru used to be on a knife-edge on Friday as its electoral board reviewed ballots solid within the presidential election, after a problem to the tally by way of the dropping candidate Keiko Fujimori.

The overall tally gave the leftist instructor Pedro Castillo a razor-thin 50.17% to 49.83% benefit over his rightwing rival Fujimori, which quantities to about 60,000 votes.
