Refugee supporters clash with far-right activists in Kent protests

Welcome match for asylum seekers close to Folkestone became unsightly after as much as 50 protesters chanted racist messages

Greater than 200 other folks amassed out of doors a former army barracks housing asylum seekers close to Folkestone, to counter emerging far-right process towards migrants.

A long way-right protesters clashed with the police round midday on Saturday as they encircled the refugee supporters with trucks. After the welcome match, round 50 protesters brandishing St George’s and the British flags marched whilst chanting racist messages.
