UK bans any use of mobile phones while driving

Executive updates legislation to prohibit drivers from the use of telephone by any means, no longer simply calling and texting

Drivers who use handheld telephones by any means in the back of the wheel will face £200 fines and imaginable bans when adjustments within the legislation take account of smartphones.

Whilst making calls or texting on a handheld cellular whilst using is already unlawful, taking pictures, scrolling thru a playlist and even taking part in video games on telephones has no longer been outlawed till now – permitting drivers to flee fees when noticed with a telephone.
